Thistle Do Cottage overlooks Loch Fyne in Minard near Inveraray.  It is the perfect location for tourist attractions, walking, fishing, cycling, sailing and golf among other things, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. 

Directions

Heading from Glasgow, continue on the M8 heading west towards Greenock and take the exit for Erskine Bridge A898 Junction 30.  You then join the A82 which leads from Glasgow to Loch Lomond.

Continue on the A82 until you reach Tarbet.  At Tarbet follow the road straight ahead towards the left this is the A83.  It takes you through Arrochar, around Loch Long, then up over the Rest and Be Thankful and continues till you reach Loch Fyne.

At Inveraray, DO NOT turn under the archway leading to Oban, follow the signs for Lochgilphead and Campbeltown.  Minard is approximately 10 miles beyond Inveraray.
