Bookings & Payments - We work on a first come first served basis.  For all booking enquires please email or telephone our details are on the contact page.  We will respond to your enquiry usually within 24 hours.  If the period requested is available.  If you inform us that you would like to make a booking, we wil  hold the period in question for 5 days to allow your cheque to reach us.  All cheques should be made payable to "THISTLE DO".  A non refundable deposit of £50 per week booked is required immediately, with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the arrival date.  Bookings made within 6 weeks of the arrival date are payable in full at the time of booking.  No booking is confirmed until the required payment is cleared by our bank.

Arrival & Departure - Thistle Do will be ready for you at 15:00hrs and should be vacated by 10.00hrs on the day of departure this is to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next guests.

Damages - All damages and losses should be reported prior to departure.  Damages and losses may be charged for.

Cancellations - Should you cancel your holiday at Thistle Do, every endeavour will be made to re-let Thistle Do.  Your payment (less deposit) will be refunded if Thistle Do is subsequently re-let.

Smoking - Thistle Do is stricktly a NON smoking holiday cottage, smoking is permitted in the grounds but we ask that you do not allow smoke to enter the cottage for the comfort of future guests.

Pets - At Thistle Do we allow one dog for an additional £20.00 this fee is to cover the additional costs associated with cleaning the cottage.  All pet details must be given at the time of booking, additional or undisclosed pets arriving will only be permitted to stay at our discretion and upon payment of the £20.00 pet fee.  Under no circumstances must a pet be left unattended in Thistle Do Cottage.  We reserve the right to charge at our discretion for any damaged caused by your pet.  You may exercise your pet within the grounds but you are required to clean up after them.  Please be aware that it is illegal in Scotland not to clean up after your pet.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions - By submitting your deposit / payment and booking form which will be emailed or posted to you, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions laid out above.
